Pokemon/types/ability not affected by this move/ability: Well the same things like grassy terrain.

This is what Grassy Terrain does:

This terrain has the following effects on Pokémon that are on the ground and not in the semi-invulnerable turn of a move.

At the end of each turn, the terrain restores the HP of each affected Pokémon by 1/16 of its maximum HP.
It increases the damage done by Grass-type moves used by affected Pokémon by 50% (regardless of whether the target of the move is affected).

If Grassy Terrain is in effect, the power of Earthquake, Bulldoze, and Magnitude is halved, even in a single battle.

If Grassy Terrain is in effect, Nature Power becomes Energy Ball, Secret Power uses the animation of Vine Whip and may cause sleep, and Camouflage causes the user to become Grass-type. Natural objects disappear and cannot be destroyed while Grassy Terrain is in effect.

Will it last for 5 turns? Or will it last as long as this Pokemon stays on the field?
This also decrease the damage from Earthquake, which is very much needed. (Although I guess that's redundant on a Grass type, but it's still cool.)

It will indeed last for 5 turns. So it will be pretty nice for weakening EQ all round (for 5 turns).
